The bike track beside Throsby Creek is one of Newcastle’s most quirky and picturesque bike tracks. It has many art works along side it which are also functional in some cases. Bollards are sculptures and ornamental wind vanes sit among the tree tops. Some of the creek’s history is also captured in these art works. Water birds on the creek and the trees alongside it add to its charm. It is a beautiful, scenic way to travel to the city and forms part of the bike track link between the city and the uni.
